Girl's Guide to Guns

While stressing about the rifle and pistol re-qual I VOLUNTEERED FOR, I decided it best to find a patron saint of marksmanship. Thank God (literally) that there is one: St Gabriel Possenti - you can read about his amazing-shooting-of-a-running-lizard-to-defend-virgins-from-rapists story here. He shares birthdays with Mike - March 1.

ANYWAY, one site about St Gabriel linked Girl's Guide to Guns. Not gonna lie, their "about" paragraph made me crack a grin amidst my terrible stress: "Girl's Guide to Guns is a website dedicated to women who dig fashion and fire power." They go on to explain that they are the love child of Guns & Ammo and Vogue. I've been looking for this. I yearn to make this blog as fabulous as their website.

On a more serious note: God, if You happen to follow this blog, pleeeeeeeeeeeease don't make this new stupid volunteer effort on the range go the same way my stupid volunteer effort to do Night Land Nav remedials went. Pleeeease.

To the maybe three people who read this blog, I would appreciate your prayers in this endeavor. I am genuinely worried about this - not just fabulously worried. If I unq apparently I automatically get an adverse FITREP (eval) and I can only imagine that'll really impress the board for career designation (only 65% of Officers now...I am so worried about this). I am afraid of failing as a Marine. I wish I were good at something other than making a schedule....or copies.
